Winter Site Preparation

Solar Foundations USA is able to install all year long. Our equipment has the capability to install piles through the frost layer with no issues. The frozen ground often makes driving on the grass very easy with little lawn damage.

However, with the cold comes snow. Let's discuss how vital it is for your company to prepare the site so the ground mount installation is feasible once the SFUSA crew arrives.

Solar Foundations USA SFUSA Ground Mount

The SFUSA Ground Mount allows for panels mounted up to six high in landscape orientation with custom configurations available. Continuous flight ground screws are used because of their uplift and bearing performance, ease and speed of installation, minimal disturbance to the soil, and the ability to validate capacity during installation.

Featured Installation

Check out this 23.544kW ground mount structure located in Carlock, IL. This featured array was designed for 6 panels high in landscape orientation by 12 panel columns wide. The end result did not disappoint with its smooth finish.
